About the role

EDGE Constructions & Consultancy is looking for a hands-on Site Engineer (Civil) to take charge of work on our ongoing residential projects in Dhaka. You will work under the Director – Project Management & Implementation and alongside our design team.

What you will do

  • Supervise piling, foundation, RCC frame, masonry and finishing work to the approved drawings and specification.
  • Check reinforcement, shuttering and concrete before every pour, and keep the pour register and test records.
  • Plan daily and weekly work with sub-contractors and site supervisors; keep the schedule on track.
  • Take measurements, verify bills and track material received and used on site.
  • Enforce site safety — PPE, scaffolding, edge protection and housekeeping.
  • Send a short daily report with photos to the project office.
What we are looking for
  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET, MIST or another recognised university) or Diploma in Civil Engineering with longer site experience.
  • 2–5 years on multi-storey residential or commercial building sites.
  • Confident reading structural and architectural drawings; working knowledge of BNBC.
  • AutoCAD and MS Excel; basic estimating and BOQ.
  • Able to lead site teams and stay on site full days, including outside Dhaka city when required.
